Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first royal palace built by the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung served as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty. It is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces in Seoul. |

National Folk Museum of Korea
National Folk Museum of Korea in 1993. Since its establishment, the museum has dedicated itself to studying and researching the folk history of Korea, and collecting artifacts from different Korean regions in order to pass on an insight into the lifestyle and culture of Koreans. Gwanghwamun Square
Gwanghwamun Square stretches out from Gwanghwamun Gate, once the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, to Sejongno Sageori Intersection. At its center stands a statue of King Sejong the Great, the fourth and most respected king of the Joseon Dynasty and creator of Hangeul, Korea's alphabet; and a statue of Admiral Yi Sunshin, a naval commander noted for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592-1598) and a hero among Koreans. |

Insadong, located in the heart of the capital city Seoul, is an important place where old but precious and traditional goods are on display. This complex was comprised of the Main Office, Yeongbingwan(State Guest House), Chunchugwan Hall, Nokjiwon Garden and Mugunghwa(Rose of Sharon) Hill. It is interesting to see that all the buildings are unique and beautifully designed, built in the traditional Korean style. |
