Day 4 DMZ / War Memorial of Korea
The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is a buffer zone, which was established when the Armistice Agreement was signed during the Korean War (1950~1953). The lines reach 248㎞ in length. On either side of the truce line is a 2㎞-wide stretch of land where military activity is forbidden. Imjingak Resort, located about 7㎞ from the Military Demarcation Line, was built in 1972 to console those who are unable to return to their hometowns and families because of the division of Korea. |

Day 5 Korean Folk Village / Hwaseong Fortress
Korean Folk Village introduces traditional culture from the late Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) to both local and international visitors through cultural classes experience, shaman faith, seasonal customs and others. Performances including nongak (farmer’s music), martial art on horseback, traditional wedding ceremony, and other special events are available by season. Hwaseong Fortress represents the pinnacle of 18th century architecture during the late Joseon Dynasty. It was elaborately designed to be both effective in defense and on the attack. It represents outstanding originality and beauty, and is considered among the finest works of Korea’s ancient architecture. The construction methods used encompass the strong points of both Asian and Western elements together. It was designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in December 1997. |

Day 6 Everland
Everland is Korea's representative theme park, offering up attractions galore along with a variety of animals, a mix of an amusement park and zoo. The cute animals and colorful parades delight children and seniors. The garden, beautiful with seasonal blossoms throughout the year, is a popular photo attraction for couples. Everland entertains visitors all year long with various festivals. It houses diverse attractions which are available to enjoy regardless of ages, different themed festivals including Tulip Festival, Rose Festival, Summer Splash, Halloween Festival, Romantic Illumination, and other festivals all year long. |

Day 7 Nami Island
Nami(seom) Island is the famous filming location for the drama, ‘Winter Sonata’ (2000). The place was not originally an island, but formed as a result of the Cheongpyeong Dam being built downstream. The must-visit places at Nami(seom) Island are the Metasequoia Road and Songpa Gingko Tree Lane. For tourists, Nami(seom) Island offers a variety of attractions and much to see and enjoy. |

Day 8 Seorak Mt. National Park, East Sea
‘Seorak-san(Mountain) National park’ was designated the 5th national park in Korea in 1970 and chosen as a nature preservation area on November 5, 1965. |

Day 9 Yeongdeok Crab Village
‘Yeongdeok Crab Village’ is the home of the snow crab that was well-known from Goryeo Dynasty and also has a huge street for the snow crab, packed with around 100 shops selling crabs along the Gangguan Port. |

Day 10 Gyeongju 1
Gyeongju, the capital city of the Silla Dynasty (57 BC – 935 AD), is alive with the vibrant culture and art from the nearly one thousand years of prosperity. Thanks to this, the city is dotted with UNESCO World Cultural Heritages Sites. ‘Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond’ show their gorgeous figures at night. ‘Cheomseongdae Observatory’ and ‘Daereungwon Tomb Complex’ boast even smoother curves under the moonlight. |

Day 11 Gyeongju 2
‘Bulguksa Temple’ is Korea’s most famous temple and cultural heritage site. All eyes are drawn to Seokgatap and Dapotap Pagodas upon entering the temple. ‘Gyeongju National Museum’ provides the perfect place to learn about the Silla Dynasty and Gyeongju’s history in one location, being divided into Silla History Gallery, Silla Art Gallery, Wolji Gallery, and the outdoor exhibition. |

Day 12 Juwang Mt. National Park
‘Juwang Mt., designated as National Park in 1976, is the smallest of the national parks in Korea. Juwangsan is not so steep, making it a great place to enjoy the wonderful scenery. |
