Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival

Hwacheon Sancheoneo(Mountain Trout) Ice Festival takes place at Hwacheon county in Gangwon-do with plenty of snow and ice, perfect for a winter getaway. Since 2003, the festival has been visited by a million people, making this festival more joyful. Varied festival programs include ice-fishing, ice sledding, bobsled, and other things to see and participate in. Once you are done fishing, you may take your catch to a nearby restaurant to have it served raw or grilled.

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival is Korea’s largest cherry blossom festival. It was first held on April 13, 1952 as a ceremony commemorating Admiral Yi Sun-shin, a Korean naval hero who played an important role in defeating the Japanese army during the 16th century. In the spring, the streets of Jinhae are strewn with cherry blossoms. The petals fluttering and falling in the wind create a breathtaking scene.

Boseong is considered the birthplace of the commercial tea industry and is the largest producer of tea in the country.
At the Boseong Green Tea Festival, some of the most popular festival events (most of which are held out in the green tea fields) are the hands-on experience programs such as picking tea leaves, making tea, and sampling green tea snacks. Other events such as the tea exhibition & sale, and a number of celebratory performances are also scheduled to be held during the festival period. |
Chuncheon International Mime Festival

Chuncheon International Mime Festival will be held throughout downtown Chuncheon in KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Art Center, Jungang-ro, Waterfront Park, and other throughout the city. The festival focuses on the genre of mine based on ‘body, movement, and image’ to express various genre with participants from 7 overseas nations, 10 groups and about 500 artists.
